*** The official HTC One X thread ***

I quite like the white backgrounds and colour scheme of sense (apart from the baby turd coloured graph :D :p), it looks "pretty" :o :p

But I would much rather have a black/blue theme going on especially on AMOLED screens.


The one advantage of having white backgrounds etc. (especially on AMOLED) though is that it is easier to make out what is on the screen than a black layout when outside on a sunny day!

Black always just seems too geeky to me as it always come with neon blue/green etc.
 
That looks really smart. One of these on the Vodafone 12 month contract is looking tempting indeed. Can just suck up the last couple of months on my DHD contract - Still can't believe I've had it for nearly 2 years, superb phone.

I just cancelled my DHD contract early for the Vodafone 12mth deal. Was due to end in October so just paid the £120 off and moved on.

I can recycle the DHD for £100 and you can get £50 cashback with the P4U deal so I still made £30 for upgrading 6 months early.

That is exactly what I'm looking at doing, same money and end month too :p Where abouts is the cashback though? Saw it mentioned on Hot UK Deals but nothing on Quidco about it or similar.

I take it your happy with the switch?

Nah, it looks nice there. Keyboard looks tiny though! :eek:


I suppose it is a bit more "geeky" colour scheme but the reason I prefer black layout, is due to a more futuristic, minimal and sleeker feel if you know what I mean :p

And then having a SAMOLED screen it is better for battery.


Currently using the tweaked ICS theme for swiftkey 3 beta, but I think HTC's keyboard looks the best out of them all:

Actually may go back to it as once calibrated it is pretty good and the prediction is decent but unfortunately swiftkey is much better for those areas still :(
 
Anyone know if that weak wifi signal affects all HTC One X's or only a few unfortunate owners? Reason I ask is I just ordered a HOX last night and wondering if I should cancel the order.

Was going to go with the samsung s3 but found the HOX on for 19.50pm after cashbacks so it swayed me, but regretting it now.

If you're regretting it already then you probably should cancel.
My One X doesn't have great WiFi but it's hard for me too say that's down to the One X as I got a new router at the same time as the One X
