*** The official HTC One X thread ***

Right, couple of questions for those running MaXimus...

Has anyone noticed that no matter what network speed they are on - 3G, HSPA or GPRS - the connection quality metre in the battery settings app doesn't show green? On the stock ROM it was always green, but now it's the horrible yellowy-green. The connection is fine because a speed test showed 3.5Mbps down on my T-Mobile connection, so it's obviously OK.

I've also noticed that sometimes the network is reported as '3G T-Mobile' and others it's just 'T-Mobile.' Any ideas?

robbo u jabroni!! THIS ROM IS AWSOME on my battery life so far!!

down to 75% and its been off charge for nearly 8 freaking hours! The battery hardy drains when not in use and i have everything synched via two gmail accounds, facebook and twitter. so good so far

Hows your screen time looking?

Anyone running any nice themes? Share :)

I'm also thinking of trying Franco R11 kernel, anyone had any experiences with it?

First full charge with the MaXimus 2.0 ROM. I gather it gets better after a couple of cycles, so I'm pretty impressed.

I'll give it another full charge and try again.

Was that auto brightness?

That's good! When you mix up your use a bit (so use of apps and web browsing), it does take more of a toll on the battery than watching a video for instance.

how many gmail accounts are u syncing? how many emails do u normaly get a day? do u use twitter, facebook, linkedIn and any RSS reader like Pulse?

Do you listen to music as well.

What about apps similar to avf/talk photography? basicaly a mobile app for there forums? do u use those or something similar that auto notifies you of a new post etc?

Considering upgrading; how does this stack up agasint the likes of the Galaxy S2/S3 and so on? I find the Galaxy S2 that Dad has is almost too wide (even though I have big hands); how is the HTC One X for size and lightness?

Currenly use a Desire (not HD), and I've been pretty fine with it. I think I like HTC Sense over the Samsung OS, but if I do get a new phone I rather think I'll start doing modded OS's and all that jazz.
