*** The official HTC One X thread ***

5 weeks today till I can upgrade, no doubt my luck will be that Orange will have sold out of all stock by then :) sold my desire a couple of weeks ago for a cracking price and bought a used sensation for only £60 more so its not so bad

Raikiri aren't you getting the one s?

If so, when you get it be sure to report your thoughts on the camera/video recording, battery life etc. :p

And if possible could you try playing a few 1080P 10+GB MKV's as well as other types using DICE player etc?

Depending on how badly you want it there is always the early upgrade program... On the good news I can reveal because someone else did that it's all systems go for TM/Ora on Thursday for this handset. Stock levels shouldn't be an issue according to a friend but our forum spy in stock control over here probably knows best ;) We have a good history with HTC thankfully and it's still paying off today.

Certainly, I'll get some pics and possibly some videos of it too.

I'll have to rip a BR to test it with a high bitrate MKV though.

Yeah I wanted to see what I was offered before pre-ordering from buymobiles. I doubt I'll get a better deal tbh.

I'm shocked that you can get a contract with a "free" phone for only 26 quid. I'll go through tcb and sell my desire to recoup some of the cost.

I just called t-mobile to see what they could offer me and they said nothing, they don't have the phone yet to make any upgrade offers...

So I asked for my PAC code and called Three but all the offers they gave me where over £800 for a 24month contract.....

So scratch T-Mobile and Three for me

I take my last comment back.

T-mobile called me and offered me the HTC One X on my current plan of £25 a month, unlimited data, renewal of 18 months contract. Handset cost? FREE
600min + 500 texts

Do I win the thread?

No, but it's a reasonable deal. Though you only mentioned data.

That is a stonking deal, did you go over you limit much during your contract? Were you a big spender?

Edit: as above, missed the mins and texts. What do you get?
