Anyone on T-mobile Friends and family managed to get any deals on the One X?

Picked one up (grey / black) yesterday from CPW for £479 and traded in the SG2 for £230. Really liking it, i've not found it to be a giant leap of an improvement over the SG2 in terms of speed but i know that will improve with updates etc. The screen is amazing though and i thought it would be a long time before anyone came out with something to surpass samsungs AMOLED screens!!!
Has anyone rooted / put a different rom on yet?

Got mine, very nice phone.
£250 up front, £15 /month Tmobile 18month contract.
theres a test of the battery life somewhere. Just text messaging etc, after 8 hours the battery was only down to 85%.

£230 for SG2 looks good...just typed mine IMEI and they are offering £190 for Nexus lol
I know i don't get it either, me and my mates were on about this the other day, most recycle places are offering more money for the SG2 than the nexus even though it is older etc?
Wonder why? - I was very happy with the £230 they gave me anyway, whatever the reason

Well I had a play with both the S and X, the screen on the X is just jaw dropping! 
If only the blacks were black..... 
I could only try out internet related stuff on the X though as the S didn't have any internet connection
but the browsing was very quick on the X, I think it feels slightly quicker than the galaxy nexus. Both mobiles felt very responsive and I actually quite like the new sense, however, I still don't like the launcher, but that can be solved easily
The S screen did look pretty poor when side by side with the X but still nice nonetheless, when not comparing the 2 screens.
Unless three can offer me a damn good deal for the X baring in mind, I have been with them for over 5 years now i.e. paying less than £60 up front for the phone and remaining on my current tariff (£20 a month, 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 2GB internet, don't mind the texts being cut down to 500 and mins down to 200 though) then I will most likely be going for the S or the GN on o2 or T mobile, I think........

Picked up an S today from T mobile. I handled and compared both phones side by side. The X clearly has the better screen when looking at both side by side, but the S was WAY more comfortable for me to hold in my hand and use. To me this is more important because whats the point in a phone if it doesn't feel comfortable to use?

Anyone else tried one of the other launchers? I dont mind sense but got so used to Go launcher EX on my SG2 i miss it lol. Was surprised i did a wifi speed test earlier and got 24Mbs on this an only 15 on my SG2.

I think the one S will most likely be my next mobile. Still a bit concerned about the non-removable battery though as I can see myself rooting and flashing a custom ROM on at some point in the next year or 2

Yep you were right, picking up my One X from carphone tomorrow, 20.50 a month
I didn't realise you could go through CPW when on friends and family.
Yeah they gave it me there and then, they just knock off the value of your phone against the price of the one x. They just do the usual and check IMEI, it works etc.

Neither did I but Gareth who i spoke to on upgrades said it would be fine. Obviously I will make sure before anything is signed.

Check IMEI as in its not nicked or dodgy in anyway? Hope they have white in stock tomorrow sim free if I get down there..

To be fair it's a silly reason just because of iPhones but I personally loathe white phones. I think the dark coloured version looks muuuch better
Nothing to do with iphones here as well. I just don't like white cellphones, they just look like kid toys to me.
