*** The official HTC One X thread ***

Lot of people seem to be complaining about lack of microSD and removable battery.

If HTC included these things, this phone would be a lot bigger and people would just complain about that instead. Looks like you can't please everyone :(

Indeed, I couldn't give a damn about either of those things, 32GB is plenty.

Arrghh, taking mine back for an exchange in the week. Speck of dust or smear of grease below the display, not the glass, so you see a shadow on whatever you watch. Small but annoying on a screen that has this much clarity.

I'm having to get used to a phone where I can't reach the top of the screen with a thumb using it one handed but all seems to be going well, bar the video streak I got across the top of the screen when using Chrome beta for a second or two.

Don't be silly, HTC are just trying to sell cloud services and cut out some hardware costs.

Basically your saying Apple was wrong to double battery capacity for the new iPad. Everyone would've been happy with a ~4 hour battery life for the same price.
That's the difference between Apple and companies like HTC. The One X would've been packing a 3000mAh battery had they designed it... :D

Of course that isn't what I'm saying. I'm talking about it having a removable battery, nothing else.

Ive left my phone idle for a while as ive been very busy.

Im at 1d 13h with 71% battery left. Only 20 minutes screen time though

In regards to GS3 i dont think there will be any doubt samsung might beat it spec wise as their CPU will be better, probably give better battery life but trust me when you have the GS2 and the One X in both hands its shocking to the build quality samsung have made, Sometimes having a nicely designed phone is better than paper specs

I'm not getting amazing batt life atm but I've been on it almost constantly with WiFi always on, playing draw something, words with friends etc.

Does anone know of a good car dock for this phone? I want to use it for GPS in the car and i also use my phone as a blackbox, it records all my journeys including GPS data , i got screwed over 50/50 on a car crash due to lack evidence so i use my phone for this

The Exogear ExoMount is good if you are after a holder.
