*** The official HTC One X thread ***

I was expecting to be offered a white one after reading your post, but the person I spoke to in retentions assured me that they only stocked grey/black, same as their website!

Thanks for clearing that up, I just checked my upgrade options online and it is only showing me the black one for £20 to renew for 18 months. The lady I spoke to earlier today assurred me "we only have it in white" I think I will go for it and that way I have 7 days to return if I don't like it.

Yup v pleased with the battery :)

Most of that was texting, few shorts calls. Bit of music and streaming radio and a light bit of video streaming too.... Tulisa video ;)

The S4 snapdragon has a integrated world multimode, programmable architecture modem. It supports everything!!! :)
The One S/XL should support all future 4G networks in the UK (Not sure about aerial compatibility)

So, what happens when nVidia start marketing their 28nm integrated modem SoC in 2013? They'll say it's worse than Tegra 3? :o

Tegra 3 will consume 5-6W at max load. On average the 4.7" screen uses 1W and don't forget stuff like connectivity overheads. How big is the One X battery? 6.6Whr?

A good investment if you don't mind sub 60 minutes run time then :p

I thought the UK htc one s' s4 cpu would support 4g as well and called HTC to confirm this a few weeks ago, the guy I spoke to said it doesn't, but whether he knew what he was talking about is another matter

So ive linked my HTC One X to my dropbox account but it still says i only have 2.5GB of free space, what gives?

You say you've linked but have you actually gone into the dropbox app on the phone and tried to upload anything ... it was only then that I got an email to my accounts address saying that I had got the extra space and go to the getting started section of the Dropbox site (where if you do 5 of the sections you get another 250MB as well).

I'd linked the phone to Dropbox last week but it wasn;t until I did this tonight that anything happened.

Was offered the One X for £139.99, staying on my current contract (24 Months, £15 a month - 300mins/Unlim Texts/3GB Data FUP)

That sounds brilliant - I've still got 5 odd months to go till my contact is up but would love to keep my 3gb FUP on this contract as it's become more and more useful - been going over 1gb monthly fairly regularly of late!

Will wait it out but am soooo tempted to get this phone as soon as possible although I can wait and see what happens to contract prices etc once the SIII is out!

o2 Have a sweet looking deal atm via the Tesco Phone Shop. (http://phone-shop.tesco.com/mobile-...-X-Black-62b2ed8b-f13c-4f7b-bb61-e8120a0640da)

£27 a month for the HTC One X. 300 Mins, Unlimited texts and 500mb data allowance. Plus £50 cashback through topcashback.

Good deal?

This is coming from someone looking to move on from a Nokia 6500 Slide on a o2 £10 a month sim only contract which ran out agessss ago (300mins, unlimited landline calls, unlimited texts, no data)

you have to follow the link from the email you got and do some of the getting started tasks. annoying.

then I got this email:

Hi Robert,

Congrats on becoming a Dropbox Guru! We've awarded you 23 GB of bonus space for the next 24 months! You now have 25.75 GB on Dropbox. To get even more space, check out our upgrade options.

Thanks again for supercharging your HTC device with Dropbox!

Enjoy,
- The Dropbox Team

Anyone come across this issue yet?

http://mhotspot.com/blog/themsk-fix-obtaining-ip-address-android-wifi-problem-2/

I cannot follow the instructions as written there as they dont match the options on the One X. Also if I enter the details manually (IP address etc) then I cannot click on connect, only cancel.

Anyone have any ideas? This is a wifi network at work btw, so cannot reset the router.
