Just take it back to your place of purchase, people do it with other phones. Since there is clearly something faulty or you're doing something wrong. Happens with iPhones and it probably even happens with Nokia's.
 
Ever since I stopped words with friends it hasn't dropped as of yet. I'm pretty sure thats the problem, google throws up thousands of people with the same problem. Is there an app that gives you more precise stats?

Returning the handset is a last resort, it's gotta be something software related.

Can anyone take a look at their "Running Apps" screen and see how it compares to mine? http://imgur.com/d7YBa

Some weird looking apps there? They normal?

Theres an app called autostart I use on my galaxy s that stops services starting up when the phone boots, could install that and have a flick through to turn off anything you don't use?

Bought out my contract (cost of doing so was less than how much I could punt my SGS on Mazuma for) and got myself one of these on a £46 a month, 18 month contract.

I'd usually balk at such a contract however since I have an advantage plan I get it for £23.

So far I'm quite happy with the phone but it's only been a day. It really does seem to sip power when it's on standby.

Somebody told me that they gave it a try and got a £36 cheque as compensation so I gave it a go. Initially they tried to fob me off by saying the headphones included are beats compatible but I told them I was specifically promised beats headphones (I wasn't) and their twitter account said the same too. I was put on hold and then told that they're sending a set of headphones out to me in the next couple of days :D

I just did the same but the woman didnt know what the price was of the headphones, So she went on the official Beats website and saw some for £79.99!! she is crediting that to my account within 28 days

I feel a bit bad now for robbing them! :D:D

Lucky git. I've already got a set of beats that I got with my Sensation XE. You don't want to buy my new set of beats for £80 do you? :p
 
Dead Space doesn't run brilliantly either. Seems even current 3D games are pushing the One X over it's limits for whatever reason. Going to play with this one for a few days more then go back to my Note.
 
Guy at carphone warehouse told me to go for grey instead of the white model as the white model would get dirtier quicker and lose its 'new look'. Would you guys agree with this?

If you look after your phone, you won't have an issue.

If you don't, it could end up looking bad.
