The only other mobile screen that would be better/just as good in terms of quality that is on the market today (personal preference this though) is the iphone 4s screen.

i would have said the next down wuld have been the galaxy note or the s2 no?

Ah yes! I forgot about the galaxy note, I consider it more of a mini tablet rather than a mobile though

Whilst the galaxy S 2 screen is nice and still good today, the big let down of it, is the screen resolution (same res. as the desire, which is now 2 years old) and it really is very noticeable when side by side with the GN and of course for the next year, most of the new mobiles will have a 720P res. as standard like 480x800 currently is.

And from what I have read on these forums as well as others and my own use with both mobiles, the colours are more "natural" looking on the GN as opposed to the slightly over vibrant colours on the GS 2 screen (I am not bothered by that though, much better than having washed out colours like with the sensation, desire HD etc. )

Yeah the Nexus screen is rather nice in the flesh. About the above, I was going to write something about the Pentile technology vs the technology used in HTC, then I decided not to because I don't know anything on the new HTC or have much experience with the Nexus - but I forgot to delete the bracketed text

With my DHD contract expiring on April 20th I'm glad this is coming out at around the same time! Hopefully Samsung will show something so I can make a final decision.

This does look very nice though. In white for me.

I very much doubt it is.

Yeah AFAIK the S4 version only exists because AT&T wanted LTE on the OneX.
