Cheers mate, looks like mine doesnt suffer from any sort of flickering which is good i suppose as thats the last thing i needed:p


EDIT: One thing i have noticed about this face unlock is that sometimes it doesnt work ie unless your in good lighting conditions it wont have it lol. Sometimes it works like a dream but most of the time i get a 'cannot recognise your face'...its a bit tempermental:p

i think there is an option to try it under different lights to improve results


I rang O2, got a new 1X replacement coming in the morning
 
Face unlock is the best thing for office amusement :) In a slightly odd question has anyone got a decent red hard shell case for this? Times be a changing and i need it to specifically red.
 
Wish Sena would hurry up and get a case out for the One X...i have a sena slip leather case for my iphone4 and honestly i wouldnt think of using anything else...very thin and supple.

Come on Sena release the case please :).
 
Using my work iPhone 4 now just feels strange, screen looks tiny and dull....

I've older a cheap White gel case from the bay, i'm very careful with my phones but should I ever drop it I'd be gutted...

I downloaded screen test and went though a few different colours and didnt really notice any flickering till I got to the white background with the squares on; It flickered ever so slightly then. occasional adverts in games etc will flicker and when I opened the camera it went a bit funny briefly with the screen sort of shaking and flickering. but so far 95% of the time the phone is fine so I am reluctant to swap it just in case I get a phone that even worse. I'm hoping this is a software fix and will hold on till then.

Yeah, I picked up my Desire S and it feels so small and feels strange as well :D
 
Is there any chance ICS or another ROM will support USB mass storage? I'm wondering if it's possible to get round the 32Gb storage cap. Mind you I have done fine with 4Gb on my Desire for 2 years!
 
Anyone still waiting for theirs from T-mobile?

I got told it would arrive last Thursday and when I called to ask why it didn't show, I was told they will retry my order and it could be another 8 days.:mad:

USB function will be down to the Kernel not the ROM. I'm sure there will be more custom features as the phone matures.

This may be a silly question but I got the phone today and love it I just got my 1st paid app doodle jump lol I got it no problem but where did it take the money from as I have not added my CC details:confused:

Also I noticed on some apps including doddle jump have 3 white dots and a black bar at the bottom of the screen what is that and can I make it full screen?

Don't bother, I've had so many issues with orange and t-mobile ordering phones; You will be waiting ages. They say it will be with you next week but thats a lie as theres a backlog of orders so the next batch they get goes straight out of stock and they will say the same next week as well. I popped into town and they had them in stock in everyshop including t-mobile orange one but they couldnt deliver me one and gave the same excuses. go into carphone warehouse and do the upgrade with t-mobile there, you will still be contracted with t-mobile upgrade and you get unbranded unlocked phone :cool:

Seriously tempted to take my One X back for a refund. So full of bugs it's unreal. Screen issues with flickering, though mine doesn't seem as bad as many, but it's the software that's putting me off. I don't even know where to start with the number of issues.
