Sense isn't perfectly smooth all of the time, but then neither is Android generally.
It doesn't slow down at all though (and it has no end of animations compared to TouchWiz), just like the Galaxy S II.
Been watching the Engadget review again, on one of the vids at around 5/36 you see how much ram is in use and how much it has left. I still think I made the right call for ME in regards to my personnel choice between the sensation and the SGS2.
Don't those animations only work with the sense launcher?
I think so, yeah.
768MB is ample for Android. However more is always a good thing.
