Yeah the finger print scanner working with things such as banking apps would be huge for me. I have a note 9 which is great and I'm now having the I don't really need it but want it battle with myself! The camera set up really appeals to me, I loved the look of the low light night shot capabilities. I've owned a mate 9 in past and didn't mind emui, but could also just put a launcher on it as I enjoy just swiping up to get into app tray, rather than pressing a button.
At the price I'm getting this for the screen would have to be black and white for me to pass up on it.
I'm just naturally suspicious that's all, Huawei seem really keen to push people to pre order by offering the watch and wireless charger.

From what I've read it seems emui doesn't do any decent AOD pop ups for alerts like the pixel has.. Ie no quick reply options for what's app etc.
Some may not like it
you can quick reply to whats app on the p20 pro. can't see why they wouldn't include that on pie on the mate 20

Perhaps, I just see it as them being super aggressive against the competition.
Not to mention they're probably trying to strongarm the us into accepting them by being the most popular phone at this moment.
Not quite sure why a 7.2" screen is necessary. 5" is about the limit I can comfortably use with one hand. I know thats only the X but I really don't like this trend of screens getting bigger and bigger!

Future proof depends how you look at it the pixel will have 3 years worth of software updates. We've also seen a number of new features that the pixel 3 offers given to pixel 2 users. Personally see the pixel retaining more money than this mainly the small version.
