**** The Official Huawei P20 Thread ****

Looking on Mobiles.co.uk's Twitter account, they're insisting the later delivery dates aren't a problem for redeeming the headphone offer. The purchase date is apparently the order date. So delivery on the 10th May would be fine; you can redeem until the 19th.

Maybe it'll work out. Maybe it won't. Not going to get worked up about it at this point; May works better for me assuming there's no problems. If there is, they can have the phone back.

In regards to Mobiles.co.uk - Ordered yesterday afternoon, dispatched yesterday afternoon. Delivering today via DPD.

Although I presume the delayed ones are those who Pre-ordered the blue

Yeah, I ordered blue. Wednesday afternoon.

Mobiles.co.uk have made a complete hash of this week TBH. They left the BIG100OFF code up and running for two days in error too. They've been cancelling people's orders for having the cheek to use a code that was advertised on their own site. Reckon there will be a few people losing their preorder after the cut-off because of that one. They're also still advertising the headphone offer as of this morning, despite it finishing at midnight.

Should have gone direct with EE. The price wasn't much different (£50 + £38.40/month after corporate discount instead of £54.99 + £38/month + a £40 Amazon voucher).

Just rang CPW. I pre-ordered March 27. Was expecting delivery tomorrow (April 6) now been told earliest delivery is the 20th! Dissapointed to say the least... Might not bother

My local store has black in stock to walk away with. Haven't received head office delivery yet which hopefully has my blue pro :)

A friend of mine is testing the P20. He's had Samsung phones for a while and is really liking the P20, hopefully get to play with it this weekend.

Its arrived. First impressions, love it. Had a quick go with the camera and was impressed but i need to go out for a little while. Will have a play later.

Just noticed it even has a case included in the box, nice touch.

Really nice device so far, also it seems the unit from O2 is unlocked by default, currently using my EE sim without issues.

UI feels quite smooth and essentially Huawei's TouchWiz with the same issues, some lag and bloat , definitely not as nippy as my current phone, Aquos R, but that was running nova so maybe an unfair comparison. Also not sure about the reflective rear, sometimes it looks it's wearing a clear case rather than it just being the housing.

Not had a chance to play with the camera, which lets face it, is the main pull of this phone ,but so it feels good value for the money. Anyway , best get some work done

Is anyone removing the screen protector on theirs for an alternative?

The one it comes with doesn't feel like a glass protector
