**** The Official Huawei P20 Thread ****

Im looking at purchasing the twilight colour. Does anybody have any idea when it will be released? I tried to order on the official site, but has said out of stock since the announcement .

Brings it down to £719.10 then stay on my existing EE £20 for 20gb SIMO deal. Makes out around £1200. Tariff with EE ends up being £1322 for 20gb.

edit: Is the Very model dual sim though. Again that is the deal breaker.

AT previewed the phone and compared it with the S9+ too:

That is the P20 PRO in 10MP mode when compared with the S9+ in low light. The S9+ has a bit more detail probably down to better jpeg processing but the DR difference is massive with the Huawei.

3 haven't made up their minds with regards to releasing the phone on PAYG let alone deciding the pricing for it.

I don't get why Huawei are limiting the Sim Free releases to certain retailers. IDK if they have signed exclusive deals with them.

They did the same with the Mate 10 Pro. Everywhere else got dual Sim models whereas the UK didn't. Will see how much the importers will see the P20 Plus for if it's too much will wait for the new Mate series that will have the new Kirin SoC and other improvements.

By then Honor will release the successor to the Honor 9 and it's always based on the P series and cheaper.

So there's plenty of options...just a waiting game but damn that camera...

Though I'm not surprised as Huawei nabbed one of Nokia's Lumia staff (can't remember which one) to develop their camera tech. The Mate 10 series already had a formidable camera but this just takes it to the next level.

Mehh O2 not updated their website yet. You'd think they'd automate it as they said today for pre-order

edit: there now and wow all gone already it says. tariffs sucked anyway.

Interesting to see you can add an edge to edge bezel using software, may appease some of us notch haters. Also, if you play O2 at their own game with the O2 refresh deal you can have the phone for £616. Essential you pay off the device plan and you're entitled to cancel the airtime contract also.

Duration of credit agreement 24 months
Upfront cost £39.99
Monthly device payment £24.00
Total Credit amount £576.00
Total amount payable for device £615.99
Interest rate (fixed) 0%
Representative APR 0%
Device cash price £615.99

Couldn't pass up the deal offered by mobiles.co.uk on the deal for the P20 Pro, works out cheaper than SIM free, now pre-ordered.

Go through TCB to hopefully get an extra £40 back but the offer was £250 upfront (use code on TCB for a tenner off) £23pm for 4gb on Voda. Works out at £792 over 24 months.

I'm guessing the sim free versions sold on Mobiles.co.uk are single sim as the company is part of CPW/Dixons group

Does anyone know if the Very model will be dual sim? That is to me the best deal with 10% off on the new customer deal and then I get a Three F&F discount so £10 for 12gb SIMO
