Really impressed with new iPad. This is my first apple device and I had my reservations but so far so good.

have already spent a little bit on the app store. Been playing ridge racer one of my favourite games.

Yet to install iTunes on main computer but will over the weekend.
 
Mine is perfect pretty much, very tiny nick on the bottom between the alinimium and glass meeting and that's it, I could have even done that myself, no idea. My iPad 2 had backlight bleed and a dead pixel, can't say it bothered me though.

This device gets noticeably hotter on the bottom as some have said.

Actually Apple have one of the highest quality assurance techniques in the game. They're also producing more tablets then any other manafacuter. There's bound to be defects.

Yup, that's me :)

Glad I went for a two pronged strategy; mine is sat at the TNT depot as I missed the delivery. I am however typing this on my new iPad purchased from Banbury tescos this morning. Will send the apple pre-order one back when I get it.

The Screen... so.many.pixels.

Only tried the voice dictation once but it seemed to work flawlessly.
 
My iPad 64gb has no noticeable problems either, the screen is awesome... Especially seeing as I still have a iPhone 3GS so not use to the retina.

When I compare this iPad to my iPad 2 the screen is so noticeably better... Looking closely at the Mail icon for example, so sharp and clear feels like you can grab it!

Although annoying for the guys that have orobs with theirs, I've dealt with Apple returns many times and they are one of the best with customer service there... Not failed me once!
 
Just noticed two little dings in my iPad between the glass and aluminium. Think I'll live with it rather than possibly getting another returned one.
