What I never get is how Apple keep things so secret.
There's 100s of workers at Foxconn building these things from scratch right.. they know what they are putting in them surely :s? Obviously it's a rumour if they say anything but still.

I would imagine that in general, the right people are paid enough to keep quiet, that will be the people over-seeing production, the distribution and all the retailers and such that they have to deal with.
With Foxconn, I think we have to remember that it's Chinese Labor and hasn't been without it's controversies. For one thing, I would imagine that while they have hundreds of people working, but they are likely working in different stations on different parts, so the number of people who know what the full finished product looks like and what it contains might be limited.
Without a doubt there is a very strict no disclosure policy in place, which likely means you will be fired, but potentially they would be sued as well.
While Apple generates a huge buzz with so many blogs and tech sites devoted to it, there are few that would cough up serious money for an informant to leak the details. You are looking at print Newspapers for that kind of scoop, but then it would be all over the web straight away, so does the paper stand to gain much from paying for the info. Further to that, the information would have been gained illegally and could put them in trouble and they might not even be able to publish it.
So unless you got a serious offer of cash, there is little desire for the people working there to really give up anything, as they have too much at stake.
That's just my thoughts anyway.
