I'll be following this thread very closely as I am interested in the new iPad, as the user XP is miles better than that of my Android tablet.

No, it was edited just a few minutes afterwards, I started before you even replied but due to being in work had other things to do and was in a rush, we don't all have time to Ninja edit.

As you said, it stands to reason Android will have more stability issues, but it isn't all down to hardware, I've experienced plenty of crashes on all of the top end Android phones.
iOS crashes are far less frequent (but do still happen).

Your experiences differs quite a bit from their finding, I could argue iOS is most unstable based on this, at least I would have something to base that conclusion on.

My experience is based on years of experience using both platforms on a vast amount of devices. :)

Anyway, please make a new thread if you want to discuss this. This isn't the place.
 
I don't know what to do. I've just got back from the Milton Keynes Apple Store where they replaced my iPad 2 with a new one due to screen burn. It's all wrapped up and shiny and I want to sell it to part fund the iPad 3.

Problem is I don't know if I can go without it for so long. I think they're impregnated with crack.

It's not just that... it's the new shiny shiny must open package immediately feeling... that gets to me :D Even if it is exactly the same as the last one :D

I'd sell it for a 3 though now, if you can manage without it... I just sold my other half's 1... she's getting my 2 and I'm getting a 3 :)
 
Tightly controlled bezel guestures would be better than a fixed home button? The gesture area on palm pre phones was awesome and doesn't the playbook have some fairly neat bezel controls too?
 
That haptic feedback stuff is too new, this iPad would have been specced many months ago. Maybe the next one. I think the "touch" part is just them being Captain Obvious that it's the iPad.

The other halfs birthday was yesterday and I've been telling her since before xmas that I would get her a 3 for her birthday.
What's the usual deal with online pre-orders guys provided that happens. Don't have a store in my town and never ordered online.
Do you get them on launch day if you've pre-ordered online?

Depends, on the day or unto a few weeks after if your not quick enough.
