My iPad was delivered at my work around 3pm ish, I was getting worried because I didn't want to do any overtime on a Friday haha.
Anyways, this is my first iPad and to me it's amazing. I love the clarity of the screen. What surprised me most was the overclockers forum which fits and reads perfectly in portraight position, can this also be done on the iPad 2?
Just trying out all the iPad apps now, I love playing board games like carcassonne so it's ideal. Using my iPhone 4s this morning the screen seemed way too small, will take time to adjust!
Also thanks for this thread yesterday,think I'm responsible for refreshing it 3000 times while 'working'
Same here, Carcassonne is great. You got any other recommendations?

Ticket to Ride and Catan are very good! I'm trying to hunt down some more.
Also good are the collectible card games like Shadow Era and the new Assassins Creed one.

Hmmm, looks like even just with 3.5G my D/L speeds are much improved. Getting 3.75mbps with T-Mobile, versus 1.07mbps with my iPad 2.
Get a grip. Doesn't matter how long you been using Apple products, they'll just say they treat everyone with the same high level of service.
And proving who you are, I'm guessing that's with the delivery company?
Where you stand? Return it if you don't like it. I cant imagine them doing anything different though just because you have been inconvenienced.

Covers selling thick and fast everywhere, I've managed to get a clear snap on belkin back and stumped up the cash for a smart cover.
More than happy wi the quality, I was going to but a 2 but I waited the 12 months as I wanted a retina display. I had a close look at my dads 2 and could easily see the pixels. With my 3 even close up I can't really see them.
I have a feeling my desktop will not be turned on very much anymore.

Ha, I got my credit card bill today (the statement date is around the 16th usually) - no iPad on there. This happened with my 4S, I didn't get charged for it for ages, although no doubt it will be on the next bill in 4 weeks.
Seen an iPad on display today and to be honest I wasn't sure which version it was. I think I'm too use to hi-res displays, I've become desensitised.
They have released a new Kindle app which is optimized for the new retina display. Books look very good now.

I went to my tesco which has loads of stock in the hope of seeing the screen, sadly not on display yet. I need to see the difference with my own eyes as people saying they surf portrait without zooming in, I do that any way with ease on the iPad 1.
I need to see it with my own eyes, I will also open the box turn it on and give it straight back to them if it has a pixel problem

That area needs considerably improvement.

PCW where I bought mine from had demo units out of the new iPad, you have one close to you that you can visit for a look?
Tried to take a photo with my 1 and the new one side by side with the forums on both but my camera is utter crap or I don't know how to use it properly
The difference in clarity of the text is instantly noticeable, it's so much crisper on the new one.
