*** The Official iPad (Early 2012) Thread ***

I have been using Perfect Reader for reading pdfs that i use at college but have just realised that it only lets me read a maximum of 5! unless i get the Reader Pro version.

I am happy to pay for it but just wondering if there are any alternatives that people would recommend?

Thanks

Don't know if it's what you're looking for but iBooks, Kindle both support PDFs. Might also be an Adobe app too.

Hey guys,

I'm looking to get an iPad 3, 32gb and I've found an online retailer called B electronics offering just that for £350.00

Anyone ever heard of them, used them etc? Seems way way to good a price for it unless you guys know of anywhere cheaper?

Discount Emporium are offering the 16gb for £309.00 as well, again, never heard of them but seems way to cheap for the new version, even though both sites state its the iPad 3.

Not wanting 3G as I'll just teather my iPhone 4 if I'm out and wanted to use it and have WiFi in the house.

(Also if naming that retailer is bad, let me know and I'll remove the names!)

I'm a bit frustrated right now, I have the 4g version. I also have an ipad1 and a ip4. Wireless signal on the new iPad is by far the worse of the lot. The iPad 1 in the same spot is pretty much always on 3 bars never below 2. The new iPad goes up and down like a yo yo and on occasion drops completely.

Other than that it's perfect so it's frustrating having to do a return. If I return it won't I lose my payg broadband minutes as well?

Just ordered the new iPad :)

I've been indecisive for months now between an andriod tablet and the iPad. In the end despite the horrible closed system of the iPad it seems to be the only real tablet choice at the moment until Google really push android tablets.

The only thing which is annoying me with the New iPad is that theres not enough Current Apps for it. Theres not enough True HD Apps for the iPads in general which isn't good at all because it seems like I might of just brought a iPad 1 and I could be doing the same things I'm doing now on my iPad.

Will there be more Real HD apps for the iPad 3 in the future?

Mine arrived yesterday. Played with it solidly from about 5 until 2am :D Coming from an Android phone and never having used iOS it took a bit of getting used to, particularly weird not having a menu button or anything. Downloaded a fair few apps, Air Media Server is just brilliant, eased all my fears about having to convert all my media into Apple friendly formats!

Does anyone know why Firefox isn't available? I know there is some sort of frontend on the marketplace but no full version. It says something about Apple won't allow it on the Firefox website but there are other browsers on the app store
