Yeah I think you're right. They used Syncreon Parcel Delivery last time for iPhone 4S I think (And maybe my Macbook Pro!) but it was delivered by an actual delivery company.
 
Well, slightly concerned that I've not had confirmation email so rang apple up and my order is apparently on hold and waiting for someone to ring back. *fingers crossed*
 
So after yesterday's excitement about the "dispatched" email, I called apple to confirm...and they said no :( i forwarded the rep the email and he checked it out and just said it must have been sent out in error, apparently it happens sometimes. I expressed my sadness in as manly a fashion as possible.... and he offered me a £15 iTunes voucher for the experience :D!!!

Just got an email to say my parcel has been put back to the 20th of March. Don't know whether that's because I'm NI-based or not.

I've booked the 15th off work just in case it comes a day early like my original iPad did. Looks like it's going to be a nice day so i shall prepare my bike for the OcUK bike meet at the end of the month.
 
My Syncreon Parcel Delivery was made by UKMail. Got the smart cover, dock and now the wait begins for the "real" delivery next week.
 
Doesn't matter anyway does it? Would've thought they would all be set to be delivered on Friday.. Though that means they are just sitting around with couriers :s?

Hopefuly those with orders which say delivery on the 16th stay that way though.
 
Seems to be predominantly Northern Ireland and Scotland-bound orders that are being delayed, although there's rumours of a few London-bound orders having received delay e-mails.

Four days isn't the end of the world but as a matter of principle, it's a pretty poor showing.

Mines been delayed till the 21st and i am in cornwall:( oh well not to worry, that is the day before my birthday so it kind of fits
