With a delivery time of 2-3 weeks on-line, is it better to try an apple store on the 16th to get one quicker?

It's pretty interesting, I always thought the Retina Display was a massive new feature, but I never even thought about how much battery it would require. To keep battery life at 10 hours is actually a pretty good achievement for Apple!
I hope the new battery does make a difference as going from the original iPad to iPad 2 was a big drop in battery life for me.
I used to charge my iPad once every 2 days, roughly, but the iPad 2 was nightly. And that was using them both as my alarm clock.

wish I hadn't of sold my ipad2 with the smart cover, as I just had to order one for my new iPad in the same colour as all the colours are gash except for orange which they don't do anymore![]()
