Yeah guess there is not the rush by so many people to buy this new one when most already have the iPad 2.
Or more shipments of stock have been received this time.
The white one had sold out though where I got mine from.

People will definitely care, after all people used the speed increase from a 1 to 2 to justify the upgrade. They haven't done a very good job in my opinion if it's slower than the ipad 2.

I agree it's slightly disappointing but hopefully it's hardly noticeable and/or something that doesn't affect all units.

Anyone recommend something to show off the new display? I notice most of the magazines etc. in newsstand seem to be actually stored images like a png or something instead of a scalable file? Does this mean newspapers will have to release 'retina' editions of their publications? I can see a lot of pixellation around text in the Wired mag.
I bought a 4S on release and ending up returning it, getting sucked into first day buying hype.
I ordered this ipad but thought I'd step back for a week or 3 to see how it pans out and wait for some cases. Regardless if the screen is awesome I barely game on mine and I'd rather it was atleast as snappy as the ipad 2 or I might as well buy an ipad 2 refurb and wait to see what next year brings
Hopefully as more users test it I will get some idea of how sluggish it is in comparison. I also want to see some screen bleed pictures tonight when it's dark
What are you guys noticing that's slower? I've never owned an iPad so I can't tell the difference obviously!
I share your frustration. Could have gone out and got one this morning, still it won’t be long now.

Also just noticed a small chip in the aluminium on the top corner near the power button. I haven't done it so it must have been there when it arrived. Looks in worse condition than my 11 month old iPad 2!
