I'd say it's the perfect size for a woman or a bloke with small hands. I can't stand massive phones, sure the screen is lovely but the sheer size of them annoys the hell out of me, both when using the phone and when it's in my pocket. I have the 11 Pro and wouldn't want much larger.

After picking up my MBA a month ago and falling in love, I've now ordered an iPhone 12 mini to replace my S10+. I was due an upgrade and I can't wait to have a smaller phone. As good as the S10 has been, it can be pain to carry around because of it's size and although it does have a one hand mode you can put it onto, it's still a bit awkward to hold. Looking forward to this being delivered on Tuesday.

And I’m fairly sure the battery life on the Mini will be significantly better than what you experienced on the S10. The Mini’s endurance is unfairly maligned.

I hope I’m right anyway :)
 
I love my mini ! Best phone I’ve owned to date. I have a pitaka case on mine, which adds almost nothing on the phone. Was quite expensive at £49 though. Worth it.

Not in my experience, not until I turned off the minis Bluetooth when I’m not using it. My S10 I could usually get 2 days of my useage out of it, BT on all the time, but the mini has been charge every day. With the BT off now on the mini I am back to 2 days which suits me fine as a simple “hey Siri turn on/off Bluetooth” does the trick.

I moved to my mini from a Oneplus 6 and it's been great, love the smaller form factor and the transition wasn't so bad. Certain things are a bit more of a pain on a smaller screen, but one of the reasons for switching was to dissuade me from using the phone so much and it's perfect. Absolutely functional, don't notice it in the pocket, and adds enough friction to things like endless web browsing that I don't do it
 
Has anyone got recommendations on a screen protector and case?
Do the full coverage protectors cause issues with the sensors on the notch? Should I be looking for one where the notch part is cut out?
