I just noticed I could do a pre-pre order for my 12 pro Max today. Did the trade in/interest free option and it’s all approved and done. Just need to fire the app up on pre order day and click the ‘yes’ button I guess :confused::D

Personally I think if you equalise the storage (making the normal 12 £849), the price difference with the Pro is quite well balanced in terms of value. Plus you'd get 50-75 quid extra for the Pro come recycling time, depending on age and other factors.

To be clear, I don't think one phone is obviously better value than the other.

Just did this also, went for the white.
 
Was a tough choice this year as the last 3 years I have gone grey. A Pacific blue on my order at the moment. Not sure if I will stick with that or go safe with another grey :rolleyes:

Same, i've had the Silver (white) since the 3G, Pacific blue has been the first colour to really tempt me but the Silver/White is just what drew me to Apple products back in the day (iBook) so it's a bit of a nostalgic reason for me :)

The two 12pro’s I ordered came yesterday. Was a surprise for the mrs who is pleased with it. Mine replaces Xs max and I’m liking the smaller size. Weight doesn’t feel that different but certainly the size is easier on the pocket and easier to handle. Other than that it feels very similar. Camera is better and sure other under the hood improvements will show with use

I traded the Xs max in when ordering the new phone. As well as the phones coming yesterday the trade in bag came in the post too so expect you’ll get one any day.

Ive asked before but as I’ve seen more money being paid by some of the recyclers will Apple be very cross if I don’t send my XS Max to them? I paid outright so if I was to send it to Apple the offer would be paid into my account on receipt of old phone.

No problem you will get a reminder email saying that you won’t get the agreed discount off your purchase and that’s all
