I tried to order one today, it barfed and said contact apple support to complete. I assume that's my place lost?

Is the store likely to have extra stock in the morning of release?
 
Decided on going for the big boy this year. Sorted my pre orders earlier - 14 Pro Max 256Gb for myself (coming from a 12 Pro). Then got a 14 for the wife who’s still rocking the 11.

For mine I found it was £1pm difference to get it on contract with EE using NHS discount, than buy it outright and go EE SIM only.

So doing that as managed to secure last week £500 for my 12 Pro with Music Magpie trade in :D Then £250 for the wife’s 11 trade in too, seems a no brainer.

I'm liking that the camera now has a slightly wider lens as well as standard. Certainly will help with the videos I record for my vlogs.

Same but also for the first time decided to get AppleCare as well

Missed out on any kind of on release day delivery.

Eventually had to go via my Mac which got stuck on processing for 20 mins, then eventually I got one after trying multiple times.
Now expected between 3-10th Oct

I’d set up my phone for trade in on musicmagpie and now will likely pass the valuation period and lose value on that.

Same here trying for 2 hours on my iPad as I was out at my mothers, booted the pc when I got home and it completed right away, only I missed the 16th delivery date
 
Exactly, I still think they'd be better off just putting them into the top bezel to completely eliminate the notch. You could still have fancy 'Island' animations even without a big ol' black hole always in your face.
 
If it’s anything like the notch (which it is, minus even more screen cut out) then it won’t be an annoyance. When you’re using the phone you’ll be looking at the content and not the cut out.

I don't know, I don't work there. And any Apple employee acts oblivious if you ask them about a product that isn't actually in their store.
