I’ve wanted to upgrade for a while now. Had set up my preorder details etc in the iOS apple store app. Got to the shipping details which it asked me to confirm and got stuck there. ‘Sorry there’s been an error’ yadda yadda. Couldn’t get past it for love nor money.
Missed out on any kind of on release day delivery.
Eventually had to go via my Mac which got stuck on processing for 20 mins, then eventually I got one after trying multiple times.
Now expected between 3-10th Oct
I’d set up my phone for trade in on musicmagpie and now will likely pass the valuation period and lose value on that.

14 Pro 128GB in Silver ordered. I managed to get my order in quick and got Friday 16th delivery.
I decided to pull the trigger this year as looking back at my list of wants everything I noted down has been delivered over the past few years, apart from USB-C. I then realised the majority of my charging will be done via MagSafe and any photo/files I want to transfer will be done via AirDrop, so it’s not a big deal for me when I really thought about it.
Should be a great upgrade from my iPhone X which I’m trading in.

Decided to go for iPhone 14 Pro Max 128GB as I’ve been using my XS 64GB for a few years and struggling with the capacity.
Ordered a Pitaka “carbon” case too as the one on my iPhone XS still looks in brand new condition after 4 years! MagSafe and will work with my current Pitaka wireless car charger.

Is the Otterbox anti-glare screen protector any good? Or the Belkin anti-glare one?
All screen protectors are terrible.

Well I don't agree about that. I'd rather have a terrible protector than none, I've had one since the iPhone 3G
I haven't used one since the 4S or whatever it was called and I've never needed one.

I didn't use one on the 5s I think it was and quickly got scratches. I will never take the risk again

You get loads of fine micro scratches without a screen protector, looks awful if your eye sight is good enough.
