I always just go black black, but like the look of the tan so have ordered that, will have the case well before the phone

I’ve always had the tan leather case for my iPhones (since the 6s anway), I think it looks really smart.

It’s worth noting that the colour in @Rilot’s photo doesn’t last long. After a few weeks of use, it goes much darker, taking on a deep patina from general use.

Personally I prefer the “used” look — brand new it’s too orange for my liking — but if you purchased it based on those photos you might be disappointed that it doesn’t stay like that for long.

Got my 14 Pro yesterday. Can anyone recommend a case that would match the silver phone model? There's nothing I've seen that works.

Big upgrade from my 11 Pro either way (particularly given the latter had a busted mic lol) am chuffed with it.

If you use your phone in an environment where you need a case, go for an apple one they look and feel the best. They’re expensive but you’ve got a £1k phone you may as well go for a good one.

Midnight leather looks good with the silver.

Yeah TBH that's what I did with my 11 and probably what I'll mostly do here: only cracked the 11 2.5 years down the line and I've got phone insurance.

Would be nice to grab a case for when I'm in higher risk scenarios (like when I'm drinking). Any pick of the Apple cases IYO?

Seems to be app-dependent. Most of mine were still logged in but a few weren’t. Banking apps were the main faff for me.

Banking apps i get as that’s always been the case but for apps like Facebook, Instagram etc they usually stay logged in but not this time.

On the 14 Pro now , upgraded from the 13 Pro ... stuck with the same Apple Leather Midnight Case. Camera in full ProRes mode is amazing. The level of detail that you can get is worthy of an upgrade alone.

My thoughts exactly, no point spending £1k on a phone then skimping on the case it doesn’t make any sense. Apple ones are the best and the leather ones are particularly nice.

I ordered iPhone 14 Pro and sold my old phones for good! having iPhones Naked is the best but the glass, the back panel, and the frame will always get minor scratches that will reduce the resale value, I like my phone clean AF so I will buy the entire body film screen protector from Gadgetshieldz which covers all the sides, back and the screen. I've used it before and it is really good!

Yeah I didn’t bother with a screen protector on my iPhone XR just used a case that covered the back and sides and it’s been fine. Can’t be doing with those air bubbles.

Naked will drop £50 off your resale if you wait a few generations. But you'll save on the case and it'll look better than the case, even if the phone itself is clean.

I’m probably going to be waiting to October to get mine. I’m in Jersey and the Apple store here is just a franchise ran by Sandpiper CI. There’s no John Lewis or the like here and the Apple store is the cheapest place to get one.

Amazon is the same price but no stock til October either probably.

Doesn’t look like Amazon will be getting stock until October and that’s for the Pro models not the Plus. I may be wrong but we’ll see.

I’ve just realised that the reason my wireless charger dock doesn’t work is that the bulky lens push it too far off the charging pad. If I lift it up so the back is flat against the dock, it works.

I'm having the same problem since putting my phone in the case.
