Which iPhone 14 will you get?

I have one page of apps with everything organised into folders. I'm just used to where everything is after years of iPhones and similar layouts. I never use the app drawer and I only tend to use spotlight if it's an app I use infrequently and can't locate within a second or two.

I have two pages, the main page has a widget and 4 rows, the 2nd page has a big widget and two rows.

I only have 13 folders, mostly with just a single page and the rest are priority apps.

I really don’t use that many app’s frequently and I try not to download trashy apps that I don’t use. I tend to use the browser over an app as for a lot of stuff, it’s just better.

Edit: I wish the auto correct was better

That doesn’t seem right. Is this on a new 14? Perhaps it’s just Spotlight indexing?
My 13 PM uses around 4% on overnight standby.

I've had it on all the iPhones I've owned since the 11. Fresh install on every one I get. Just seems like it is how the phone works now.

I've a feeling it's something to do with Find My and the AirTag - but that is something I need.

Moving from a 13pro, to my 14pro I've been pretty happy. As usual not a mind blowing upgrade but a nice set of incremental steps.

- The screen is noticeably better particularly in high and low brightness situations.
- Ultrawide camera is a massive step up
- I quite like the new notch
- The new front selfie and rear 48mp cameras are good upgrades too

Not only are people willing to pay more than RRP just insane but they're also stupid. I bet most of the people selling those phones on there are those who have taken an early upgrade, so rather than drop their tariff to SIM only, they just carry on paying the normal price and sell the phone to get a lump sum. I'd never pay more than RRP for anything and I certainly wouldn't want to open myself up to the possibility of owning a brick if the person responsible for the contract stops paying it. But people just don't think like that and if they want to take the gamble then fair play to them.

Had every iPhone on release day and this is by far the most disappointed I’ve been with an upgrade. 14 Pro Max from a 13 Pro Max and I’m not that pleased.

- Battery life seems far worse
- FaceID has an annoying delay before scanning when using Apple Pay and other functions other than unlocking the phone.
- Camera focus speed is pretty **** poor compared to the 13. Scanning QR codes seems so much more awkward with this camera system

If I hadn’t given my 13 to my girlfriend, I’d be taking this back tbh

Seems to have released before the software was ready that’s for sure, they are releasing another update next week for camera issues.

Part of me is glad I’m in the early October delivery slot, should iron out more of the bugs before I get it.
