Just noticed the back glass on my phone is cracked along with the camera housing. Booked in tomorrow to get it sorted. Does anyone know if they repair or swap it?
it far from cheap to have the rear glass repaired if you have a 14 pro or 14 pro max

The standard iphone 14 is much cheaper to have the rear glass repaired..

Managed to get a return started on my 128gb 14PM yesterday and it's now ready to be posted back to them. I got myself to the Apple Store in Covent Garden yesterday and picked up the 256gb model, got it home and disappointed to find that the bezel had a small mark on it. It's covered by the edge of the case so not a massive problem and you wouldn't know it was there unless you took the case off. Disappointing though considering the cost of the thing!

I was tempted to return it but I'm going to struggle for time now :(.

When you zoom in it looks like there something between the screen and casing and not just a mark on it
I would return it for sure.

Got it done, I have apple care and cos the camera was ok it was only 25 quid.
What they do is replace the whole back including memory etc so you get your phone back blank 2 hours later. Which means all my MFA in the Microsoft app was knackered again! They need to sort that.

I thought that was all supposed to be backed up in OneDrive/iCloud? I first used it on my iPad and then when I installed it to iPhone, all the data was repopulated. At least I think it was.

@chaparral
Buy applecare. If you need it, get a cheap flight or the Condor to the mainland. Get the repair and go home. Cheaper than paying the cost over there.
I haven’t looked up the Apple care prices but I think it would cost a fortune to cover all the Apple devices I bought as I also buy them for family members.

Two iPhone 14 pros
iphone 14 pro max
iPad 12.9 pro
iPad 11 pro
iPad 10.9 air
iPad mini (latest one)
Apple Watch ultra
Apple Watch Series 7 stainless steel
Apple Watch Series 6
AirPods

Just noticed mine has too, but I do Barclays finance so it will be replaced with a 15 Pro in September.
AUP, or their 0% finance? If the latter, how does one upgrade? Is it a case of ordering a new phone and wrapping it into a new finance deal after sending your phone back to Apple?

0% finance when you order the new phone you essentially trade in your current phone, which usually pays off your remaining finance and usually a bit towards the new phone then you just enter into another finance deal for the new phone, you usually end up paying around the same monthly cost as you were already paying.

Ah, I never knew that. I usually pay upfront but last year I decided to take their 0% offer.

So with my iPhone battery health being at 99% max now, does this mean it will never get to 100% on the battery indicator when it's charging up and I should disconnect it when it gets to 99%?

What do you end up paying each month roughly?

It’s 99% of its design capacity. E.g. if it’s a 1000mah battery, it’s now 990mah.

You’ll still be charging that 990mah from 0% to 100%. You probably will not even notice any difference until it’s sub 90%in a couple of years.
