But the 15 is only about 6/7 months away...
Alternatively, you could say that the current phone is only 5/6 months old. If you want one now, just buy it. There’s always something better coming, you’re not Worthy ;)

It’s only a couple of months away.
At least six months. Over half a year.

I’ve actually done the upgrade now. The pro max is just too big and I’m struggling more and more with it when I need to hold the phone one handed.

Just upgraded to an iPhone 14 Pro ( purple ). Not liking any of the cases discussed in this thread. If there was a decent transparent non-slippery one ( allegedly Apple one is ) I'd consider that. Might go with a naked phone, not even a screen protector, and just rely on AppleCare.

Do it(naked).

So much better. The screen is solid too.

Just had a notification come through that Apple Pay has been cancelled on my iPhone for my Santander card, also had an email come through and a text confirming.

Card doesn’t expire until 08/24 though so it’s strange, cancelled the card and ordered a new one just in case.

The text message also came through 7 times from Santander so could just be maintenance work but I’d rather not take the risk.

Apple Pay automatically updates with new card details anyway so it’s no time lost.

Doesn’t surprise me with Santander, they’re a **** show of a bank.
Up until now I’ve had no issues and I’ve been with them since they rebranded in 2010.

I’m not keen on moving banks either, I get paid weekly and my wages always go in a day early, supposed to be every Thursday like every other employee but Santander release the money to me on a Wednesday, no idea why.

I had all sorts of issues with them trying to make larger payments for cars etc. Nearly every time my card would be blocked and I'd be locked out of all accounts (business & personal) until I went into a branch with ID. I eventually moved on.

Switching banks is an absolute breeze if you use the current account switcher. Most banks have it.

High street banks are dire. Id move to starling and you can use their business accounts there as well. Just so much better.

If you need to deposit or withdraw large cash just go to a post office.

Had 14 Pro Max delivered today and it seems great so far. I was due an upgrade as the contract was out on my 12 mini. As much as I liked the form factor of the small handset, the battery was awful and the screen was far too small to watch anything with comfort.

Looking forward to getting to used to the bigger unit.

My only disappointment so far is that I didn’t realise ProRes could only record at 1080p on the 128gb storage phone.

I bought directly from Apple with a trade in on my 12 mini but it doesn’t look like I can return it. Is that right?

I’ve had a refund on a device I bought using Apple trade in. I got a refund to my card for the amount I actually spent and the value of the item was refunded in the form of a gift voucher.

Thanks Feek.

I'll have a chat with them tomorrow. I'm confident I can change it, I assume the system needs to update/it's just a mistake and can be resolved over the phone.
