When you factor in the lack of resale potential in the UK, the fact that recycling sites might not want the phone, personally I'd have thought it wouldn't be worth it.

Best way really. Owt with cellular from over there is dicey (phone, iPad, watch). WiFi versions of things like iPad and watch are fine really.
I think in particular the watches were a no-go for me last January, and I ended up picking up an iPad Pro 11 WiFi in NYC, saved nearly 200 quid over UK cost at the time.

Just a FYI there were reports that the Sandisk Extreme drievs had a higher failure rate than expected, a couple of sites reported this. I don't believe it was specific sizes, there was a spate of failures of that specific model range:

I get up at 6.00, every second day I go for a run/gym then I like to just sit for an hour and do nothing have a cuppa then leave at 8ish

Looks lovely but my OCD is in overdrive at the lack of a phone case. iPhones feel like a wet bar of soap sans case for me, I would have scuffed it or cracked the screen in no time.
To me the titanium feels amazing in the hand. It’s a premium material and is a shame to cover it in some other case material that adds bulk. I also have AppleCare in case of an accident.
