Are you getting an iPhone 15?

I do prefer caseless and over the years have only managed to break one phone so I like to think I'm responsible with my tech - my kids on the other hand do not share my sentiments so my 15 PM is cased.

Picked up one of these ahead of a trip to Korea next year, will be shooting in Pro Res so the direct record to SSD will be a blessing.

Had a little test and goodness me the file sizes are huge, a 17 second clip was 800mb!

Highly recommend using Blackmagic to shoot raw video instead. Quality will be as good but you get SO much more recording time, as it shoots in HEVC.

Hi everyone, I applied the following screen protector to my 15 Pro Max back in Oct:

I have used this type for years on several of my previous iPhones and they have been perfect. However, it has now lost adhesion in the top left corner, so I will need to replace it. I think the screen edges are different on this model compared to my previous 13 Pro Max, so that may be the issue?

Has anyone got any recommendations for an alternative that is working well?

Thanks!

I'm not a massive proponent of screen protectors, however as my little ones try to get their grubby mitts on my phone more and more I had little choice to apply one to my new 15PM - anyhow I've been using this ESR one:

I'm sure others will have their recommendations but all I can say is that I've had no adhesion issues and no bubbling or rainbowing.

Cosmetic damage doesn’t bother me, it’s a tool not an ornament. Also it’s very easy to not scratch.

I’ve scratched all of my phones and I never know how. Always pretty deep too

Edit: I also have really bad luck with Spain. Every time I’ve been down to my dad’s place I’ve broken my phone. Will be getting a case for my phone this year before I go :P

I've got a iPhone 12 Pro Max. Interested to hear from anyone who has done a leap into a iPhone 15 Pro from the 12 and whether in real terms I'll notice anything.

I think the iPhone 16 is going to be really good with Apple focusing on AI and other things like that so I would say if you can wait until September it may well be worth it.
