here it depends on the driver. 9/10 its fine.

that 1/10 its a different driver who struggles to read address/house number and constantly delivers to my neighbour. Who funny enough is often out.

his house is XX ours is XXA and that A seems to be very difficult thing to deal with for DPD

I find most bank insurance have long drawn out claims process, and very few offer things like advance replacements if you smash your phone.

They normally involve sending off for repair which can be a massive inconvenience, and they tend to use these third party places for any repairs.

I’m perhaps more anal than most but I’d only want Apple touching my Apple devices.

That's kind of what I was thinking. My current M1 Air is about to be picked up by John Lewis to go wherever on the 2-year warranty. Turning up at Apple with my previous laptops was definitely preferable, regardless of costs etc. I'll go for it on the phone. Thanks.
 
Of course clicking “manage your delivery” takes me to DHL…..

I’d rather EVRI based on my recent dhl experiences and that’s saying something.

That’s the thing with couriers it depends on your driver. At my previous address I dreaded dpd as the usual driver was awful, but here he’s top notch.

I bet some dhl drivers are great!

So my Costco order still shows as processing (not holding out hope for delivery tomorrow). My apple order is sometime in October, the Apple store just did not work for me for well over half an hour on pre-order day and by that time I was right at the back of the queue.

Do apple stores still keep in un-allocated stock on a first through the door in the morning?

Any idea where I could pick up a pro max tomorrow ??

Yeah, according to Currys (where I ordered my Pro Max at 1pm) the phones might not be in until the Tuesday batch. :(

A few extra days.. not the end of the world.

At least it wasn't cancelled, loads of people on MacRumours had their Currys orders cancelled.
