I'm really liking my Mujji leather case so far. Just need to use it for a while to see how it patenas.

I tried both of the Spigen EZ Fit screen protectors that came in the pack and I wasn't happy with either of them, so I'm currently going without a screen protector and will just rely on Apple Care+ if the worst happens.

I stopped using them on my 12 Pro Max a year ago and it took an absolute beating. Pocket with car keys, chucked around at the gym… still didn’t get a scratch on it. So given that, anyone who is careful probably doesn’t need a screen protector anyway!

I'm baffled how on earth is a mobile phone able to have equivalent or higher per core performance than a high end desktop CPU? Imagine if you could hook up a 4090 to an iPhone 15 in a GPU Box, the CPU might not actually be a bottleneck!

Just had my shipping notification for the 15PM. Was originally showing as 22nd September when I ordered which got changed to 20th October after. In the interim I’ve been using an iPhone 13 to get used to it. It’s taken a bit of time to adjust coming from Android, but I do like a lot of iOS’ features, enough to stick with Apple for the time being.

Its Apple, they always like to exaggerate their phone specs.

I ended up just picking up the silicone case whilst I was getting the phone in store. Will so how I go with it, if it doesn't work out I'll just return it within the 14 days.

My 14 PM is heavily dented and scuffed.

I’ve had a cracked screen since Jan this year :p

Would hate to see what would happen to a Titanium iPhone.

Torras SP is the one to go to.

Anyone who says they’ve had no screen protector for years and not had a single scratch on theirs after using and abusing it is simply lying or are visually impaired

Sweeping statement right there.

14 Pro and zero scratches. Still have my work 13 and zero scratches. My 11 Pro that I had for ages also zero scratches.

I did break the screen on my 11 Pro when it fell out of my gym shorts in a car park. It had AC+, so just paid the excess and had it replaced and I opted to have the battery replaced also.

But I'm not an idiot with my phones. I don't have anything else in my pocket with them, and I don't leave them screen down anywhere. My wife is, she's clumsy, hence she has a case. But no protector and also no marks on her 13 Mini.

Not even micro scratches on the screen? Check with a light source.

You saying you could sell your 14 pro and 13 as “grade A as new” after the use you've had from it ?

Maybe, I don’t care if I have to use a bright light on the screen. I don’t see any in the sunlight.

All my phones have sold as grade A with full payment being received. My sister in law was looking at my 14 Pro and mentioned it looked brand new.

I’m not throwing my phones into a toolbox or anything.

I’m with chris on this one, this was the first phone (well, last years 14) screen i’ve scratched and i’ve never ever had a screen protector on more than 1 day. The screens are pretty robust. Just don’t throw them about but you don’t need to be super careful with them.

I stuck one on an iphone 4 or 4s or something back in the day and it was horrible, never again.

Stopped using cases around the iphone x, i periodically put skins on my phones to mix them up for a bit but nothing beats naked.

I think people must have different levels of tolerance to scratches. Once I'd placed my order for the 15PM, I took off the case and screen protector from my XS just to give naked a try for a bit.

I couldn't get on with it without a case, it was too slippery, but I didn't think there was any point putting a screen protector on for a few weeks when I was getting rid of it anyway.

I’m very careful with my stuff. The phone has its own pocket, no keys or whatever and I haven’t dropped it or anything like that.

As Imfy2k says, it’s now covered in micro scratches. It doesn’t affect the usage but it’s definitely no longer “mint”.

Some people will accept that as part of phone ownership and a reasonable trade-off for not having the faff or feel of a screen protector.

Others will want to keep their £1,000+ device in the best possible condition.

I've dropped my 13 PM half a dozen times. But because I use the Apple silicon case the phones has not even scratch on it, different story for the silicon covers, I'm on my 3rs cover because they do their job by protecting the phone

Reviewer tests latest IOS to see if temps have dropped

His test showed exact same performance and exact same temps as before

But the kicker is the he tested the phone by benchmarking it

I don't think Apple reduced the temperature when the phone is under heavy load, it still gets to 45c to 48c to the touch, all Apple did was fix a bug that caused the processor to run harder than it needed to when doing remedial tasks - but real load like a videogame etc is still going to overheat just like every flagship phone on the market overheats

I’ve got AppleCare so I’m not fussed. I’ll get round to having it repaired. One day

I sold my 14 Pro to Music Magpie for £670 (dialled in the offer before the 15 was announced). My printer was having a bit of a mare so I sent it using their QR code (which is tracked only) rather than Special Delivery which they recommend. The tracking hasn't been updated since it was accepted at the post office on Monday so I'm starting to panic a little!
I got an email from them to say it's on the move, and RM has updated that the phone was scanned in Bristol on Tuesday. Guess I'll get the notification that they received it later today or on Monday.
