Which iPhone 16 will you be getting?

I "upgraded" to the 16 Pro Max, from a 14 Pro. The Max size is obviously the biggest difference and I am quite happy with it.

Reading a few more reviews it seems like it will be a solid upgrade.

I've been fine with the 64gb 11, but I imagine the higher resolution camera would fill 128gb fairly quickly. What's the verdict on going for larger storage options?

256GB would be the minimum i'd recommend unless you are backing up to the cloud etc.

So reading the last few pages the general concensus is that these are pretty good if coming from an older model. Does that seem accurate?

I'm looking to update as my 11 pro (2nd battery replacement and the official battery case) is struggling to make it through the day. Some more demanding apps are stuttering and the camera is starting to look a bit basic compared to pics taken by friends and family.

The question is what to upgrade to? I'm working in the EU and the refurb market is extortionate here so the options are:

A UK refurbished 15 pro for ~£550, but gambling on getting a decent handset first time as delivery to the UK, then overseas and through customs would mean I'd miss any return window if there were a problem. Although this could be mitigated with a friend in the UK quality checking the phone for me.

Or

A locally bought 16 pro for €1199. I can claim the VAT back so this works out at ~£810. However, unsure if the warranty would be void when I move back to the UK next year.

What would you recommend?
anythig more than 2 gens older and im sure its a great upgrade

using something like backmarket for refurbished usually ensures good quality

Any recommendations for a 16 Pro case? Needs to take the odd drop to the floor here and there, but retain all of the features like mag charging etc.. Thanks

Is anyone asking for a thinner iPhone?
Thinner? No. Not even a little. i have the iPad pro M4 and that has me worried that i'll break the thing outside of a case, I would like an iPhone that does, say, combine the 8 inch form factor of the iPad mini when folded out so that I can carry the thing around and use it as a reading device when I'm in the garden catching up on a book.

I got the 16 Pro Max and use the Spiegen Transparent Magsafe and it's perfect for what i need.

They do the same one for 16 Pro too.

What’s the best way to upload images from the iPhone to forums?

The imgur shortcut no longer works even after multiple reloads. :(

I just ordered a 256GB 16 Pro for £815, still not sure if it's a good decision to upgrade from my 13 Pro, but after 3 years I start to feel the itch and not sure if I should spend money on replacing the battery.

Bought used the last couple of phones, but nearly £300 off only a few months after launch seems decent.

good deal, RRP is £999 so a £185 off is decent

Yeah, it's the 256GB model though, so £285 off. Need to keep justifying it to myself :p

The 128GB model is an option for £715 I think, also £285 off. (Also a 24 month Vodafone contract at £13 per month, but that's already less than what I'm currently paying)

ah yes completely forgot it was only the pro max that comes with 256gb as the base storage and not the regular 16 pro!

In that case, an even better deal

What deal was this? 13 Pro was a stellar phone but sounds like a decent saving and selling the 13 Pro will surely offset more.
