I’ve ordered the spigen one, hasn’t arrived yet though so may cancel it and get the one you have.
Btw my bare case arrived today and no customs charge whatsoever. Just put it on and it’s a very nice case, very minimalistic and you can hardly tell if there is a case on it.
Also I get to throw the ugly ass clear one that I’ve been using for past couple of weeks so win win
Yes I've just printed out the BOR286 form out and have to mail that too them as well as the jiffy bag with the charge on it, the thieves!
I've got the Bare Naked case on my iPX now, seems decent although I've not used a case since I bought it so I'm not entirely sure why I ordered it!
Grip, primarily. Also the less cosmetic wear the higher the resale value, although if you're on the upgrade program that's a non-issue.

Never really had an issue with grip. I'll probably trade it in at Apple when I upgrade it so resale doesn't really matter as they're not bothered about a few scuffs here and there. For anything more major there's always Apple Care which I bought. I'm not on the AUP although I am thinking of joining it, that said I'm a bit late now. I may just wait until next year and see what they release.

. Right so I have a bit of a dilemma, I need a pair of wireless headphones. Airpods are out of the question as the fit on them are terrible for me. I tried a pair in the apple store, shook my head a bit and both buds went flying off somewhere in the store. Luckily we found them but yeh that’s that as I was quite interested in getting a pair. But I bought my mum a pair as they fit perfectly in her ears so she’s a happy camper lol.
I tried the Bose QuietComfort 35 s2 headphones out and quite liked them. Noise cancelling was superb but they aren’t compatible with Siri, only Alexa and google assistant. Sound wise they were not bad but as I listen to quite a lot of hip hop, rnb etc etc, I need a pair that will still give me nice bass but decent quality. And no the beats are not what I consider value or good quality.
I mean I was ready to spend £330 on the Bose wireless headset so I don’t mind spending that much on a pair of high quality headphones.
Any recommendations??

Try out the Sony WH-1000XM3. Almost bought them but slightly preferred the QC35 II. John Lewis had both for testing so you can give them a side by side comparison.

B&W PX is your other option at this price point but the Sony's are considered the best but its pretty close being realistic.
I don't disagree but not in the £300 Bluetooth NC space.
Tried them as well and didn’t like them at all, found them very uncomfortable and the noise cancelling was well below what the Bose offered.
Anyhow one of my missus’s friends works for John Lewis, so I called their customer line and they said they have a few pairs at Oxford st in London. So her friend will pick me up a pair and get some discount on them. Just hope he gets them before they sell out lol.
This was the reason I went with them over the Sonys. the Sonys sounded better and had better noise cancelling, but not massively.
I was quite impressed with the Bose and The noise cancelling that they had.
Went into JL today to try the Sony’s out and I have to say compared to the Bose, they seem much nicer and I found the noise cancelling better especially with the app. Plus they suit the style of music I listen so it’s a no brainer.
Just waiting on my missus’s friend who is picking me up a pair on Monday.
I have QC35II and I am disappointed with NC quality. I don't know, my first NC headphones so kinda expected more. You can easily hear people talking next to you (with NC to full), in a plane you still here some of the engine noises etc. In addition they have difficulties to connect to PC ( many threads online about the issue). Sony doesn't allow to connect them to ps4 (which sucks). Maybe I just expected too much, don't know....

I had a pair of Bose QC15s (wired) for years. When it came to replace them I agonised over what to get, and kept going back and forth between the Sonys and the QC35IIs.
Went for the Bose in the end because I found them cooler and more comfortable. I also guess I’m used to the Bose sound after having the QC15s for so long.
P.s. the QC35IIs can be used with Siri with the multifunction button.

Lol so I got my Sony mk3 wireless headphones and decided to buy a pair of Bose QC35s S2 as well. So will be testing both over next day or 2 and see which one I prefer. Both at same price point but I quite liked the Bose QC35s so thought I’ll keep the ones I like best.
Hopefully the Bose will be with me tomo then I can properly test them out.
