To be fair my order in Google wallet states "Delivery (Two Day)".

So if it's not here on Thurs I'll kick off and email Google, as they've charged me £10 for two day delivery, and it'll cost them less than half that with the amount of orders they're doing!

I posted a Nexus 7 today, and that only cost £7ish Special Delivery next day!

Yea, the postage is a bit steep for 2 day. Just checked Google maps and apparently I can walk to Dublin and back within 2 days!

They use TNT for delivery, who only do next day, so their 2 day option is simply them giving themselves an extra day to get it out of the door. When ordering everything said 3-5 days delivery anyway.

See their help page said they use DPD.

This is Google's main problem. No real information on *anything*. My order had no confirmation screen (looked like it had crashed), we didn't know when sales were open, the shipping estimate is worded ambiguously.

My help page says DHL. Would rather it be DPD though! I've never had one problem at all with them.

The ordering page has gone back to "Coming Soon". It would be nice if we could just place an order with a shipping estimate of +2 weeks or something rather than having to wait and visit the page every day to see if it will let us order.

The guy I just got through to at Google Play support just told me nobody has even contacted them from LG yet regarding the next batch.

Hopefully the 24/48 hour re-stock scenario is correct. I will be buzzing if so!

I just played with one of these in the o2 store on oxford st.

The phone is extremely polished and well implemented. It is evolution rather than revolution but I will be ordering one soon. Really smooth

The camera took pictures instantly but quality wise it felt similar to the quality of my gs2.

Not saying you're lying - quite the opposite, but the number of different stories coming out is getting a little silly too. Apple keep information locked down but when it comes to buying their products, the bit that makes them money, they're very clear about it. Why oh why can we not just order now with an indefinite lead time?

I got through to an American person (maybe American call centre). is it possible there is more call centres and they are giving different stories?

On a separate note, imagine how much quicker it would have sold out if they actually did their big Release Event (that got cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy)!!
