***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

Top be fair, most people wont want/need the level of info you're asking every person that comments on battery life to give. Screen on time is enough to give an idea.

I can use my phone the same way on two different days and it'll give different battery life. Giving that much depth is a waste of time in my opinion.

Indeed, plus battery life can change due to updates etc.

My SGS2 lasted barely a day when i got it on 2.3 (or was it 2.2?). When it eventually got to 4.0 it was doing 1-1.5 days and my usage had stayed the same (if anything I was probably using it more towards the end!!)

Really? I keep reading people can't buy iPhone 5's, they can't pre order, they can't walk into a store a buy one, but then they say it's on contract and one appears and all other odd stories.

You can pre order sim free, says 3-4 weeks for delivery. You can't walk into the shop and buy a sim free unless you have reserved one online which is a lottery (I tried to reserve one at 9am when the reserves open and didnt get one). If you want it with a contract you can get one anywhere.

Are the reviews english or not? I'd suspect the frequency etc used would have an impact on battery life, seeing as its generally the radio that drains the most.

What a disappointment. I was expecting high demand but it seems like the problem here isn't the level of demand, but the terrible way Google have handled this launch as well as evidently not having nearly enough stock ready for it.

I'll keep my eye on the Play Store page occasionally now but I'm not going to sit there F5ing it all day for the next week, this has put me off and I'm starting to wonder why I'm even contemplating giving them money when my immaculate S2 still works fine.

Also, why the hell do they not have a mobile version of their Play Store available? Having to use the desktop site on my phone at work over O2's notoriously crap 3G just made the whole experience even worse. Google clearly don't seem to know what they're doing when it comes to actually selling a physical product to people.

Same here. I wonder if they are working through them? The above image says you ordered at 08:36. I ordered mine at 08:27 surely they should be working through them as they were ordered....

Did you order the bumper too? I noticed the only one we've found that says complete was just an order for the phone and nothing else. Mine went through before that time as well but doesn't say complete yet, I ordered the bumper.

Have some serious seller's remorse right now, should have kept the SG3 :(

If possible try and get another S3? It is getting cheaper on various websites.

I did succumb to my gadget obsession and tried to buy a Nexus 4 this morning but kept getting a processing error.

In hindsight Google did me a favour as I'll now save the £279 and put it towards the Padfone 2 when it comes out.

Well done to those of you who managed to pick up the Nexus, I'm looking forward to seeing how real life user experiences compare to the reviews.

I ordered without the bumper at 8.24 and it still says shipping estimate.

I cant believe some of the comments here.
People are accepting an 8GB instead of 16, and then trying to justify it by saying they dont use 16 anyway, or will be able to cut a few things out. Thats a downgrade, no matter how good the phone is imagined to be.
People are regretting buying, and wish they hadn't.
People have sold their old phones and are now left without.
People have ordered other items instead.
People have traded in their S3 for this. Whatever is wrong with an S3 that you think this phone will be noticeably better.
People are resigning to the fact that CPW is £100 dearer and still considering buying.

It's all mass hysteria, in the same vein as the IP5 launch.

I thought Android users had a bit more sense.
