I am actually considering buying one from O2 for £410 -- although I can get a note 2 for that price (new)

Just cancelled my order, I am getting a Note 2.

Indeed! Personally it doesn't matter if £409 is still a decent price for this phone, and maybe if it had launched at that price I'd still have been tempted. But with it priced at £279 I'd always feel ripped off if I paid more. I'd rather just wait.

The nexus 4 date may cause me some issues, I've got to send my sgs3 back for repairs before Christmas, and I need a new phone before I can send it back. Urgh. I don't know if I can justify an extra £100 getting it from o2.
