***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

yeah i know, thats what i have read, its a gamble if my plan to buy 4 to cover the cost was gonna work, i would have to open and test before selling, as at present there is no sim outlock for this phone and if i sell as unlocked and that's the case then im in poo poo

Buy it online and return it if it's locked?

Here is screenshots of the battery stats and such now -

The battery stats won't be too accurate before a full cycle is finished. You've charged your phone in the meantime so the stats are irrelevant anyway.

I think your relatively low signal is playing hazard with your stats though, I have NFC+Google Now+Google backup turned off and I am on 88% after 5 hours so far. Also my awake and screen on times look similar, your screen on seems much higher then mine compared to the awake meter... :s

Top right there will be a little icon of staggered bars on top of each other hit that and it'll clear your notifications.

Drag your finger down from the top of the screen to reveal the notification tray, then press the first button to the right of the date (looks like 3 horizontal boxes).

Yeah something not right there with the awake time and screen on time areas

did you keep your brightness on 0% for the remainder?

and as said, you haven't got great signal for most of the time so that will affect your battery life, although most phones with similar signal would be getting better than that anyway.

When my battery gets low later Ill post my battery stat screen which seems much more reasonable. I have a constant full signal in my house which will make a difference I guess.

Why not just stick with the S3 anyway then?

Two words: shiny shiny

Yeah, they have been turned off since my last screenshots. Doesn't seem much different.

Turn them off will get you a lot better idle/standby time, as there will be less wakelocks. But if you use your screen a lot like it's shown in your graphs, it wouldn't make much difference, the screen is the major battery hog.

JellyBean in general doesn't seem to be as battery friendly as ICS, getting 4+ hours screen time to me is considered as good.

Think I'll have to unsubscribe from this thread if I'm to have a chance of waiting the three weeks without thinking about it constantly lol.

Good luck folks, hope you all get sorted eventually.
