***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

I bought one from o2 last night for £399, couldn't wait any longer, sold me to me has sim free and it doesn't carry any software branding or network locks.

Thanks to everyone for the congrats :p

Sorry to anyone who hasn't yet received theirs keep hope eventually you will get it!

So to start the build quality is very very very good! I'm really impressed with it, The slight curve on the edge of the screen is really nice compared to the gap that was on my SGS2. The screen colours are washed out & its a bit weird compared to the blacks on my SGS2 but I can live with that!

I've managed to drain the battery after about 5 hours but it was on 70%. Lots of syncing (google now etc), downloading apps, about 10 texts sent, 1 phone call for about 5 mins, couple of songs played over speaker to show my sister google music. About 45mins on need for speed most wanted (which it plays absolutely awesomely may I add!) Screen on time was around the 2hour 45mins mark but not entirely sure with auto brightness.

I will get back with a better report at some point.

Photosphere is really good, Camera I'd say is about the same as my SGS2 maybe a little bit better! So I can't really complain there.

i disagree with the washed out colors, the SGS2 was OVER saturated and users got used to it... go back and look at a SGS2 after a week and you will find the colors to strong

I ordered 2 x 8gb's for me and my dad, obviously got the "3 week" email. Originally wanted 16gb's, so I have asked if I can have my order changed to 2 x 16gb's.

Will report back with their response.

trust me you wont, i had the same rage when i went from the SGS2 to the galaxy nexus, infact i hated the GN, looked at my mates a week later and it was fisher price kids style... you'll see :)

I'd say that is more down to the resolution of the phone though. Plus the GN is SAMOLED :p :D
