***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

I have to say I am a bit baffled by all this 'washed out screen' rubbish. Having come from an iPhone4, the screen is immense! HD Youtube is fantastic - I'm really really impressed with the screen - it's not a weakpoint for me whatsoever

Samsung Galaxy owners can look directly into the sun and say it's 'washed out' (to balance it out... iPhone owners think film noirs are colourful. :p)

im well aware that the SGS2 was over saturated, the GN is somewhere in the middle, the icon colours do look washed out for some reason, however the web and so on look great

As long as the screen is nowhere as washed out as the DHD screen, then it is ok! :D :p

As said before, it seems that it is similar to the nexus 7 where some people get more vibrant screens and others get more washed out screens.

I also found the GS 2 screen to be far too saturated as well. GN was a bit duller/more natural. The one S is pretty much spot on for a SAMOLED screen IMO, not too saturated and not too dull, the GS 3 screen is also much better than the GS 2 and GN screen but I don't think it looks as good as the S (for colours)

I see there's rumors of a white one surfacing once o2's exclusive ends, I wonder if they'll actually have any stock

Looked pretty ugly on the leaked pics I saw :)

My current battery stats from today btw, just light texting and the odd bit of web/gaming/currents. Been sat in sleep on my desk most of today.

Everyone uses their phone differently in different circumstances.

The only way to test if they're all equal would be to fully charge the phone, boot to fastboot and time how long it takes to die.

i know,
but 5h screen time seems like a lot when I dont get 2hours with not using phone too much...

"Vanilla One X" as in not a One X+, or a One X with 'vanilla' Android loaded (AOKP/CM)?

If the former, then in my experience it is better.
