***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

Ok bought one from CPW, can't be bothered to wait for Google to work out how to sort their business out. It's a fair amount more but I'll just treat it as an early christmas present to myself :p

Thanks :), looks pretty good there.

The 1080P video was pretty decent as well, when the car went by it looked smoother than what most other samples show........

Are you getting one (one can never be sure :p)?

Not sure yet...... Waiting for this battery issue to be sorted out first and for gsmarena's review and of course till I get to have a good play with one :p

Besides, by the looks of things I won't be able to get my hands on one till probably January (not paying any more than what google are asking for :p)

Nexus this image from the phonearena perfectly illustrates why the n4 display is better than the s3's:

More natural and vibrant.

Yeah the nexus 4 does look much better in that pic there, a lot clearer looking and more pleasing to the eyes.

Will have to pop into CPW to see if they have any display models up yet.

Because you haven't even seen one in person yet seem to ignore the people who have actually taken the photos (myself), that's why.

At what point have I ignored any one? I've based an opinion on what I have seen so far and have already stated I will make a final opinion once I have seen them in the flesh.

I think you are annoyed that I haven't taken your word as gospel (and why the hell should I, I know nothing of you or about you) which shows in the fact you have answered a question which was posed to another poster that you felt you needed to respond to. Get of your high horse.

I think it depends on your situation really. I've been stuck with my Desire HD for what feels like a lifetime, I've been patiently waiting for the right phone for about 6 months now, neither the S3 or the One X quite felt right for me. I was happy to spend up to £500 so this is still around the price I was expecting.

I think I'll be doing the same. Just sold my bashed up S3 for £280, was hoping by now Google would be up and running, but having used a horrid Galaxy Mini for 2 days I can't hold off, Friday is the day I will probably give in.

Nope, whether you buy the phone or not has no bearing on me. Simply trying to highlight the fact that writing off a phone based on the images I took is a little misguided. (Especially since they were taken with a substandard pocket camera from 5 years ago :P as the dslr was unavailable)

The images do not show the phone in a good light, simple as that. I have already stated I would reserve judgement until I see both side by side in the flesh. End of.

Watch out guys.... We've got ourselves a badass here! Simple as that! END OF!

OK?!!

Exactly. People who post up sily bait posts and don't give us the full story are annoying!

It will probably be an emplyee discount or they have some voucher to use.

Anyone find the screen on this very unresponsive?
Coming from an iphone 4, it is just way annoying how much pressure is required on the N4.

I wonder if this could be sorted in an update, or is it likely a hardware problem ?

I hope it can be fixed, because as nice and smooth as this phone is, the lack of sensitivity just undoes all the good stuff imo.

Yep, lots of people reporting this.
