***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

Started to worry they had fudged my order whn the date of my order on google play changed to 20th instead of the 4th, but this morning received an order saying it's despatched.
TNT site says it was collected yesterday, tracking on the website shows it was loaded into the local depot this morning at 2am and has the status "Out for delivery between the hours of 09:00 - 18:00 ", so was hoping it'll be dlievered today.
Phoned and they said it would be delivered on Christmas Eve though.
 
It sounds as if they have thrown... sorry, carefully loaded, your N4 onto the van, all ready for Monday morning, which is encouraging.

All you need now is for someone to be 'at home' to receive, and sign for it!
 
Still no news here - (8GB) 4 December 2012 17:14:23 UTC.

Not in any real rush, but it would be nice to get them before the new year. :).
 
Just had a case arrive. Was this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B008PRX66K/ref=pe_217191_31005151_3p_dp_1 - which now appears to be out of stock but there's a load of similar ones around.

First impressions is it's very good! Not too big, well made, holes for everything and fits snuggly. Pretty good for £2.99. Pics:

Well mine says it was loaded in the van at 515 this morning and it is to be delivered between 9am and 1800. That is rapidly approaching, hope it is here today otherwise little chance of getting it first part of next week. I am also pretty sleepy and really want a nap/shower but can't go just in case

I got a red one for 99p just to put me on until I decide on what permanent case to get.

Its pretty good tbh, pretty thin and quite grippy though its a little slack fit down the middle of the edges.
I ultimately don't want a case like this to use day in day out as the dust and lint that builds up inside can be abrasive when you come to remove the case.

Was looking good up until the face drop, pretty sure the majority of phones would suffer similar damage when dropped on it's front like that. Wish mine would hurry up and turn up, my current phone is locked to orange and need to get my new sim and do the PAC code switchover before I end up without a phone for a while.

Yea it did quite well in the drop test vid. i was expecting it to break right away lol
im guessing if the back glass landed flat it would be prbbly shatter
 
Sorry but all cases are just vomz. Bareback ftw :p

Also, shouldn't the corner drop put the most strain on phone? Pressure of the drop focusing through one area etc.

Didn't someone say earlier that TNT don't normally deliver on a Saturday, so you may not get it until Monday anyway.

Best to give them a call first thing Monday morning, I reckon.
 
I also like the bargain basement eBay S-Line case. Mine's clear so I can still see the cool back. Imagine it'll end up yellow though.

TNT deliver to my workplace on a Saturday, would that mean they only deliver to business clients on weekends?
