***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

Sorry but all cases are just vomz. Bareback ftw :p

Also, shouldn't the corner drop put the most strain on phone? Pressure of the drop focusing through one area etc.

I agree, I've never had a case (or any damage) on any other phone I've had before, but the N4 is ridiculously prone to escaping off any surface. It slide off my bed side table and hit the radiator the other night so just not worth the risk.

Put mine on the arm of the sofa as a test:

No vibration - it moved really slowly !!!! And fell off onto the cushion I put there !

Ringing - it positively made a break for it and legged it onto the same cushion.

Conclusion - it looks and feels lovely. Putting a case on it is like wearing a condom safer, but no where near as satisfying :-)

Yeah I've decided I like the feel of the phone too much to put a case of any kind on mine.
Never had a case on my S2 for more than a month out of the 14 months that I had that and that was absolutely fine :p

It was hard watching that drop test!!! Cringe!!!

If the phone feels good and has great perceived quality like the nexus 4, I wouldn't use any case personally. That is why I stopped using the tpu case etc. for my one s, the MAO aluminium uni-body and sleek design/looks is just too good, to miss out on!

I'm in two minds about getting a case for mine. It keeps trying to make a run from it. I don't 'do' cases but the N4 is so nice I'd be gutted if it made a suicide jump from a high place. It's already ran off the bedside table and hit the floor in the night, luckily on to carpet, this time.

Man google need to hurry up and release the wireless charger for this. Other chargers that look ass in comparison expect to fetch £55 quid odd its mental.

But it wont be 'so nice' if you cant see if. If you end up scratching the back badly, THEN put some ugly case on it. If you do it beforehand whats the point :|

Through all my phones I've never had a case and never had a mishap other than being drunk and dropping my iPhone straight in to a pint. This time I'm just going to be extra careful where I put it down I think, might even have to cut up an old mouse mat to put on my bedside table to keep it in one spot. :)

I don't think all cases are ugly btw :o Personally I am not bothered about scratches knowing how clumsy I am.I will drop it on the floor and it will end up shattering the back.

TNT deliver to my workplace on a Saturday, would that mean they only deliver to business clients on weekends?

Most couriers do Saturday deliveries to whoever if they are paid extra to do so.

Somehow I can't see Google paying TNT any more than they have to, but hopefully they will deliver on Monday OK.

Ya Google would probably say to TNT to deliver whenever they have some free time :)

On a phone like an s3 i agree, but when a phone goes out of its way to look good, u just ruin it with a case :)

At the most i might consider a pouch/slip case just for in my pocket n putting down on surfaces etc
