***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

That's what I thought!.. At least if I buy from CPW I have somewhere to take it to if I have any problems, rather than trying to 'Deal' with Google (after reading the N7, N10 and this Thread!)

I'll give it till Friday and order when I get home at 2ish... Knowing my Luck CPW will be out of stock then too!! ;)

Anyone had any issues with the centre of the touch screen no responding? I am wondering if its related to the drop i had. getting very annoyed now.

just downloaded a touch screen test app and there is a band about 1cm wide that is no longer responding.

Brilliant. 1 week and i've managed to break it

 Could be the drop, looks like it had an impact on the digitizer.

If it is the digitizer I am afraid it won't come cheap.

EDIT: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2063049 this guy had a similar issue after the drop (but his screen cracked as well)

I'm getting even more itchy in the mouse finger thinking about this!!

£389.95 with Free Delivery, in the grand scheme of things, isn't really a 'Bad Deal'... Not for a Phone of 'This' Spec!!!

As I've said in this topic before, it's worth £279 because that's what it's been selling at. Another £10-20 is justifiable, perhaps, but another £110 is a stupidly massive increase just to get it a bit sooner. If you can justify it that's up to you, but personally I couldn't even contemplate spending £390 on a phone that someone else got for £280.

The only reason I got one was because of the price; if mine hadn't arrived when it did (week before Christmas) I'd have cancelled it entirely.

I managed to get it for £279 when they first came out but looking back I would have gladly paid an extra £100 instead of waiting a few months for a device!

Thing is, I can't suffer my Xperia Arc any longer!, Sometimes I feel like throwing it at a wall, it's frustratingly slow and keeps crashing, I've re-installed many (only official) ROM's and Firmwares, but it still crashes for the smallest of things!! and 380Mb RAM is just abysmal!!.

Plus I don't like any others of the 'Current Crop' of phones out there (I hate all the Bloat and Skins OEM's stick on Android!)...

I need a new phone now, and the N4 fits my bill...

Not that again.

People are extrapolating all sorts from a single rumour that LG was/had halted manufacturing. As yet I've seen nothing that even confirms the rumour, much less all the nonsense being extrapolated from it. A sequel in the works already? Well colour me surprised! It's not like the mobile market moves quickly or anything.

Must be a slow news day when everyone is just quoting the same IBT source for this rumour and writing copy based on it being true.

And just to compound the problems, i cannot get rid of any widgets on the bottom of the screen as i cannot drag them through the unresponsive bit of the screen to the top to delete them. :( not a good day

Hey guys my phone today slid off a book (roughly 10cm slow drop) and some how managed to get 2 huge cracks, one in the lower 1/4 going from left to right and the other right below the camera doing the same.

What would you guys recommend I do, I suppose I will call google tomorrow and see what they say.

This phone slides around like crazy. If it was the back that was cracked I would just mask it with a cover. Failing that call LG for a price.

Can't you just flick them upwards to delete?

And this is why you need a case for this phone.

I've had phones for 10+ years and I've never dropped, broken or damaged a single one. Within the first week of having the N4 it had miraculously escaped both my bedside table and coffee table.

I love the N4 but it's not a very well thought out design feature.
