Well I dropped my phone for the first time in years and the back is cracked :P

I was looking at cases earlier in the day too!
 
Hi all. Been reading this thread for 5 weeks while waiting for my order to arrive. Now it has, I love it. However one issue is on the Skype app, I cannot get video calling to work properly. I can see the person calling me, but they caanot see me as the nexus does not video me even though all the video settings are enabled. I have not rooted the phone, nor intend to. Can anyone help ? Do other people have the same problem ? Thanks

I have no where to mount mine. So I plug it in and stick it on my lap or on the passenger seat. My point being a fully charged nexus4 won't do much more than 3 hours satnav.
 
I recommend this to anyone looking to protect their nexus 4 without spoiling the look of the phone with a case, or using a screen protector and therefore missing out on the lovely smoothness of the glass. Really cheap too :)

Lol, it might stop it from getting scratched in your pocket but it won't do a lot of good when the phone isn't in the sock and slips out of your hand!
 
Need help where on earth can I get one of these
Rearth ringkle cases from?

Tried mobile fun and they keep telling me it's being delayed, turning into nearly a month since I paid them!!
Any other place has them in stock?
Or another case?

they do not protect the top and bottom of the phone, your better off with an s line wave case from ebay for £1.50

Just to add to this - these cases do NOT provide much drop protection. I've cracked a phone in the past with one of these on. All it did was contain the broken glass which I guess could be considered a feature hahaha.

I am currently rocking one of these http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gadget-Gian...5?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1359333147&sr=1-5 - which makes the phone considerably larger but I have large hands and I kinda like how big it is *Yes, that is what she said.*
 
So for those who's devices weren't shipped out within your estimated delivery period, are you taking up a complaint with Google to try and get a delivery cost refund?
 
I've always wondered that with those type of cases!...

Plus won't the magnetic field from the phone de-magnetise the strip on the cards?? I had a Rail Card wiped by a mobile before!! nearly stranded me in the middle of London!!
 
looks like play store is the only one out of stock.. retailers that charge extra always have it in stock.. smells fishy.

No, you'd need a fairly strong magnet to affect the strip on a card.
 
London Underground card strips must be crap then!! :D

(though it was about 12 years ago and a fairly rubbish Sony Ericsson flip phone!)

Or perhaps it's because no-one is buying it from the expensive retailers because they're waiting for the Play Store to get stocked up again?
