***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

Yup DC-HSDPA is fully supported, so we should consistent speeds of 20-40mbps, once Three's rollout is finished, who needs LTE? :D

why doesnt orange-t mobile already do this? i get 3mbps on my gs2 on ee. i thought ee already had DC-HSPDA as well as rolling out LTE

I think I'm sold, I've added my email to the google play site - is it likely on release day I'll get one or will they sell out stupid fast?

In which case does anyone know what time of day the shop is expected to open and start taking orders?

I don't think Orange or Tmob have rolled out their DC-HSPDA networks yet, and the gs2 is not capable of DC-HSPDA anyway. O2 and Three are the two companies furthest along with the rollout of the standard I believe.

Does anyone know if the desktop charger (wireless ball thing) will be available at launch, I'd like a couple for around the house (office and bedroom).

Think yourself lucky!

heres mine :(

I was going to take a photo of my Nokia 100 so I could shout "Snap!" but I realised my only camera went with the Sony Xperia

Still can't quite decide between Nexus 4 and a Windows Phone:confused:

Indeed. Blaming the review sites is hilarious. :)

Well it is their fault as well because they could have waited till the units, which they got get the update first, especially considering some review sites have said that this isn't the final software for the public release and being so called "experts" in the tech. field they should know how much of a difference optimised software can make in every single area, but instead they decided to rush the review out because they want traffic, simple really.

And if they really had to be first to the internet with some info on the new nexus, then they shouldn't have called it a review, rather a "preview" or "hands on" and stated in the first paragraph that they were running an old version of 4.2 and that there is an update coming out before the public release, which could improve every area, but they didn't.

If I had received the handset to review and knew that there was an update just around the corner, which could improve/fix issues (especially after reading about performance, battery issues etc.) then I would have waited for that update before starting a full on review.

Google = shouldn't have sent phones out with old software

Review sites = should have waited for the new software before doing a full "review" or done the above

Thinking it is only google's fault is hilarious :)

Depending on cost and availability I'd like two. One for my desk at home and one for my desk at work. It'd be great to not have to bother with plugging a cable in to charge a phone. :)
