***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

Yep thats the one I use as well and works really well. Its nice and simple and doesn't seem to have any fancy extra features, just does exactly what you want.

Tried that one but it's missed the same 3 or 4 that the other app did and all the ones with different spellings are missed as well.

Need an app to let me individually link contacts.

Can't find anything called Sync.ME on the Google Play Store that looks like it does what I'm talking about?

They've removed it:

Sync.ME Update:

Due to the recent Facebook communication issues, we temporarily removed the app from the app stores. We apologize for all of the trouble, and are working on a newer version from the ground up that will prevent this from occurring in the future. This may take a few weeks. Meanwhile, we suggest to keep the app installed on your phone.

Thanks again for your support, feedback, and patience.

Looking forward to bringing you an even better Sync.ME,

♥ The Sync.ME Team

Wierd. Seems to work fine for me.

I thought I manually linked a few though my memory is hazy, if you select one of your contacts there is an option 'manually link to contact', does that not work?

Ah yeah that seems to be working now, only annoying thing is my contacts such as 'Work' look really out of place without a photo now so I'm going to have to go and take some photos!

In terms of screen protectors, I've read a lot of people moaning the ones they order are too small to cover the screen completely. Has anyone bought one that does the job properly?
This does: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Google-SHIE...MOI4/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1363950346&sr=8-4

Using the DashClock widget on my N4 - does anyone know how to show it full screen when you press the power button. Mine shows the pattern unlock.
Swipe the lock pattern downwards

Yes they are wet ones, I bought that set without realising, but persevered (carefully) anyway. They're pretty good to be fair, wet application ones wouldn't bother me in the future.

Don't think I have seen many/any mention about back light bleed in here.

Only thing is that the display seems to vary a lot, some get a great display i.e. one X good and others get a display with washed out colours, slightly poor viewing angles.

If you root and flash a custom kernel etc. you can calibrate the display so it is more vibrant.

Interesting, thanks. Will take it on board. :)

Do you know if Google have a good returns policy if anything does go wrong?

Has anyone had any defects with there nexus 4's?

The only one i had was the wifi limiting to 2mb or less, luckily managed to find that it was strangely linked to the mobile setting. Solution posted earlier in the thread but anyone with an n4 i would recommend doing a speedtest after a couple of hours on wifi to make sure you're not affected

Not 100% sure.

But I haven't heard great stuff about dealing with returns etc. (this was when the nexus 4 was first released so things may have changed)

Someone else will need to confirm that.

Anyone else notice how the package smelt very stale. Almost like LG had them in a warehouse and weren't releasing them for Google.

can you post more info on this and the fix?

I find my wi-fi does get painfully slow at times, I usually disconnect and connect to my other router (I have 2 routers in my home).
