***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

I don't understand either of these two statements :)

PAC man is a rom that combines CM10.x/PA/AOKP all in one ROM - mega customisation - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2295673

PA is famous for letting you change dpi per app -

Ah ok, yes I tried pa but found my battery life hit the floor. I also prefer cm's handling of pie controls. In both cases I use Franco kernel but battery gain only seemed to be good with cm

Guys, go into settings, apps, all, then clear data for Google Framework Services. Then go into system update and check for it. Do it a few times if first try doesn't work got my update on second try.

why are you all going mental over a minor update?

just leave the phone alone and let it update itself when it gets pushed to it.

seriously it's not worth stressing over.

if you guys want a better ROM, then flash a custom one.

PAC is running fine on my S4 - Oh well PA is good enough customisation wise I guess ;)

PA wasn't that great, I would at least restart once a day, and freeze up a bit. I tired to wipe and install it again a few times but still got the same issues.

I might take PAC next weekend when I have time. CM is just the fastest, smoothest experience I have had. I hate that I can't make the on screen buttons smaller as there just too much of a waste (I like them at 70%).

Well I managed to get 4.3 after clearing my Google Framework as suggested above, but now I have an update for Maps and it won't download it? It says there was an error whilst downloading Maps. Any help?

EDIT: Nevermind, managed to get it working by clearing my Google account and re-adding it.

Anyone know any cheap places where I can replace the glass from the front of mine? LCD is fine, but the touchscreen doesn't work.

Also anywhere for the back would also be good....

Seems ludicrous pricing out there. :(

That is the case with PA with CM settings->system->expanded desktop->status bar visible

One of the reasons I prefer CM over PA, with PA you could also do this but it was not intentional whereas with CM they have built the capability in. I'm like you status bar is a must
