Should have waited!... My Nexus 7 just updated it self!, so odds on the Nexus 4 would have too!!

I like the new Camera UI... it's a bit snappier!, dunno about the Battery yet!!

Crap, without thinking I just accepted the 4.3 update, but just realised does it wipe your phone as I didnt back it up before accepting the update? I didnt see any warnings to back up otherwise I would have.

EDIT: Presume having an unlocked and rooted isnt an issue too. Hmm, I really shouldnt click accept on things Im eager to have without thinking!

Chrome for me keeps losing Internet connection since 4.3, and I have to force stop and restart it. None of my other apps have that problem though...any thoughts?

Do you actually find it useful though? Unless you're just downloading every app and file you come across, there shouldn't be a need for one.

I suppose it depends whether you restrict your downloads to the Play store or not, if you do it's probably not necessary. Otherwise I'd say it's a sensible precaution.

Always good to have, especially if it's not detrimental to battery and/or performance.

besides there IS malware in the Play store sometimes

the new update for the nexus 4 has been made into a flashable zip for the firmware side of things bootloader and radio.

flashed it last night.

then flashed the new 4.3 PA ROM

It doesn't really serve a purpose in this day and age. Best bet is to only download trusted apps from Google Play.

Updated my Nexus 4 first thing this morning and the battery hasn't charged since. It still connects as a media device and my blackberry is charging now off the cable so I know that is functioning. I have tried both mains charger and usb but neither get a response. I've turned it off to preserve what battery is left but was after some thoughts on how to proceed.
